These terms are the agreement between you and Cool Name Editor for use of coolnameeditor.com. They are deliberately short. By browsing the site or using any of its tools, you accept them; if you do not, please stop using the site.
1. What this service is
Cool Name Editor is a free, browser-based text styling tool. You type a name, the page converts it into decorative Unicode variants, and you copy what you like. No account is created, no software is installed, and no payment is taken.
2. Using the site
You may use the site for personal and commercial projects alike - a bio, a game handle, a poster, a client deliverable. You do not need to credit us. What you may not do:
Use the site for anything unlawful, hateful, harassing, defamatory or fraudulent.
Impersonate a person, brand or organisation, or mislead anyone about your identity.
Scrape, mirror, resell or bulk-download the site's content, or present it as your own product.
Attempt to break, overload or reverse-engineer the service, or interfere with other visitors' access.
Remove or obscure attribution, copyright notices or advertising in a way that misrepresents the source.
We may suspend access - by technical means if necessary - where use threatens the service or other users.
3. Your text and what you make with it
You keep whatever rights you have in the text you type. We claim no ownership over your input, and the generator does not store it on our servers. Output is simply a rearrangement of standard Unicode characters, so you are free to use the styled results wherever you like.
Two caveats worth knowing: styling does not make a name unique, and it does not clear trademark or personality rights. A decorative version of a protected name is still that protected name.
4. Our content
The site's design, code, written copy, page structure and name collections belong to us and are protected by copyright. You may link to any page freely. Republishing substantial portions of the text or rebuilding the tool as your own is not permitted without written permission.
5. Third-party platforms
Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp, TikTok, X, Discord, Free Fire, BGMI and other names mentioned on this site are trademarks of their respective owners. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any of them. Styled names must still comply with each platform's rules - some restrict unusual characters or duplicate display names - and enforcement decisions are entirely theirs.
6. Advertising
The site is supported by advertising, and ad slots may be served by third parties. We do not control the specific ads shown, and a displayed advertisement is not an endorsement of the product.
7. Availability
We aim to keep the site up and the tools working, but access is provided on a best-effort basis. Maintenance, hosting incidents, abuse mitigation or a platform change can interrupt or alter the service at any time, and features may be added, changed or withdrawn without notice.
8. No warranty
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any style will render consistently across devices and apps.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, nor for lost profits, lost data, lost accounts or reputational harm arising from your use of the site. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid to use the service - which, since the service is free, is zero.
10. Indemnity
If a claim arises from your misuse of the site - for example, content you submitted through the contact form or a name you used to impersonate someone - you agree to cover the reasonable costs of defending against it.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Maharashtra, India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you access the site from elsewhere, you do so on your own initiative and are responsible for complying with local law.
12. Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms when the service changes. The revision date at the top of the page shows the current version, and continued use after an update constitutes acceptance. If a change is significant, it will be highlighted on this page for a reasonable period.
13. Severability and waiver
If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force and the unenforceable part is read down to the minimum extent necessary. Our failure to enforce a provision on one occasion is not a waiver of it.
